London, Manchester and New York: George Routledge and Sons, 1899. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of a Later Printing. Green cloth decorative binding, stamped and filled with gilt on the front cover and spine. There is no publication date, but a prize award label on the front paste-down is dated 1899. Clean text; 231 pages, very bright and supple. There are 40 black & white illustrations by P. Ebbutt. Lightly bumped and rubbed. Front and rear hinges have both cracked. A very attractive small book, that needs some reinforcement. . Later Printing. Decorative Cloth. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. Illus. by P. Ebbutt. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
