About This Item

London: Dennis Dobson, 1968. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight and clean with a very slight lean. Boards sharp and clean. Spine ends very lightly bumped, title gilt perfect. Text block clean and white. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels lightly read very tight. Near fine condition. Jacket nice and glossy, with very evidence of handling. The laminate on the front panel joint has started to lift, but is not cracked. Overall a near fine copy. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very attractive copy of this very scarce title, especially in this super condition. Originally published under the title Star Watchers in 1951. A great copy for the Dobson SF collector.
