Translated from Latin to English by eminent British classicist Charles Duke Yonge; first ed thus; 580 p., with gift plate on dark blue front paste-down showing this volume to have been part of a bequest; former owner's name on front end page; penciled notes on back end page; faint damp stains on first pages, and tiny portion of upper corners eroded--or nibbled by four- or six-legged Catilinarian sympathizers; binding firm; gray embossed boards smudged with a stain on lower edge of back board; gilt lettering on spine effaced. Corners bumped and small portion of upper corner of front board missing.
