London: J. and R. Tonson and S. Draper, 1754. First Edition. Leatherbound. Fair. [30], 448 p. 21 cm. Frontispiece engraving and title page vignette with some other decorations. Leather binding with raised bands, gilt trim on borders and spine. Spine gilt wearing off, hinges cracked, label missing, tail chipped, leather wearing through in patches. Scratched front board, corners worn. Front free endpaper ink notation. Stain on p. 5, tears in pp. 109-11 and one page in preface, some foxing, last page of text loosening, chipped bottom corner p. 353.
