An outstanding uncorrected proof of the first American edition [Knopf NY 1991], boldly signed by author John Le Carre directly on the title page. The book is in near fine condition with a reading crease at the lower corner but with no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining or marking. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information. A scarce book when signed, irresistible for the John le Carre completist.
