London: The Bodley Head, 1951. 192 pages. Red cloth boards with gold lettering on the spine. Slight wear to extremities of spine. Orange, pictorial, price-clipped jacket has light scuffing throughout and wear along the extremities including a couple of chips. Reinforced by previous owner with tape on the inside of the jacket at the edges of the spine, only visible if you take off the jacket. DJ protected in a mylar sleeve. Slight wear to edges of textblock. Tight binding and square textblock. From the dust jacket: "A miracle did happen to Raoul Cerusier, a Paris business man of no distinction or importance. To be precise, M. Cerusier's face suddenly and inexplicably changed from that of an unprepossessing middle-aged man to that of an outstandingly handsome younger man.". First English Edition.
