Bound in original mustard yellow cloth with gold gilt lettering stamped to spine and gold gilt decoration stamped to the front board. Illustrated endpapers. Black and white illustrations throughout, as well as several colour plates. Dust jacket has not been price clipped, but has some shelfwear and chipping, especially along edges and spine; several small closed tears and one fairly large tear to the front flap. Internally clean and an overall tight and sound copy. near fine Artist and instructor, Jack Shadbolt, reflects on the development of form in art. Beautifully illustrated, with extensive notes to plates. Scarce in jacket. 1968
