Undetermined. very good. 1st Edition. 235,[4]pp. Quarto in original yellow-green cloth with gilt lettering on spine and gilt decoration on front cover. Illustrated endpapers. Pages slightly yellowed with B&W and colour illustrations throughout. Dust jacket with slight wear and chipping. very good With a nice long inscription on the title page by the author. Also included is a full page letter to the recipient of the book with great content. Most importantly is a small sketch by Shadbolt, possibly of the recipient of the book. The sketch is 20 X 25 CM in size. "Thus is art a structuring of possible ways to relate things" (author's Preface) Artist and instructor, Jack Shadbolt, reflects on the development of form in art. Beautifully illustrated, with extensive notes to plates. Scarce in jacket. Overall a great copy of the book. 1968
