In attractive, near fine dust jacket with minimal wear at the spine extremities. A sister, nineteen, and brother, seven, live in a small boat on shore of Cape Cod, having come from their broken European homeland. They are befriended by taciturn but hardworking Americans. When another small boat carrying a college professor who is trying to leave behind an unsatisfying, lonely life, a gentle romance develops between him and the girl.
