"The sculpture of the entire Greek and Graeco-Toman world is traced from the fourth through the first centuries B.C. Dr. Bieber has included new material, including an entire new chapter on the portrait sculpture of the Romans and on their many copies of Greek masterpieces." (dj) This copy includes a number of extras: a lengthy published review of this book; a few relevant bibliographies; and taped inside front cover, the 1978 newspaper obituary of the author, Margarete Bieber.
