About This Item
Garden City, New York: Doubleday & Company, Inc. / A Doubleday Signal Book, 1978. First edition (stated). Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 5 3/4 x 8 1/2. B&W photos. 2J. Pictorial boards, in dustjacket. Indexed. Meant for young readers. A solid and nice-looking copy with tight binding and intact hinges. No marks. A little wear to extremities. Top edge light foxing. Foot of spine creased. There is a binder's fault: laminated coating has bubbled up a bit; presumably all copies will have this fault. Unclipped dustjacket has just a touch of foxing on the flaps; some wear at foot of spine, and a <3/8" tear with creasing top edge back panel at spine, else little signs of wear. Sunning to spine, hardly visible outside but shows inside.
