About This Item
New York: Experimenter Publishing. New York, Experimenter Publishing, 1925. First edition, first impression. Paperback. A very good copy. An early Gernsback magazine. As is well documented, science fiction as the genre we know today really got started with Gernsback's Amazing Stories in 1926. Prior to Amazing, Gernsback edited a number of science magazines, which had a sprinkling of fiction (scientific fiction) as it was known then (and I think scientifiction at one point!) The magazines are of course tricky to come by, but this is in excellent condition. Science and Invention was previously called The Electrical Experimenter, but Gernsback was associated with other similar magazines such as Modern Electrics and Radio News. Some creasing and edge wear, a couple of nicks and tears and some chipping to the spine. [11422, Hyraxia Books]. . Very Good. Paperback. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1925.
