Hamish Hamilton, London, 1981. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. 202pp. Black coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and there are marks to the front and back panels. Browning and discolouration to the top paper edge and discolouration to the other edges. Spine is very slightly cocked and there are quite significant handling marks to the endpapers. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a scene from Hong Kong which has been overlaid with a space suit in white, with white and red writing on the front panel and white on spine. Chipping to the dustwrapper corner and to the lower dustwrapper edge. There is a 0.25 " tear to the top rear spine gutter edge. Some grubby marks to the extreme edges of the dustwrapper and a little rubbing has also occurred. A Science fiction Convention has hit Yellowthread Street and everything goes wrong once the " Spaceman" takes his ray gun to the convention. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
