In the original, unclipped dustwrapper. The first edition of this work by William Cooper. An entertaining novel following the married life of Joe Lunn and Elspeth. A humorous, truthful, and touching novel by Cooper. Sequel to Scenes from Provincial Life. In the original, unclipped dustwrapper. In the original publisher's cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally lovely with minor shelfwear and slight bumping ot head and tail of spine. Inscribed by a previous owner to front free endpaper, dated 1961. Dustwrapper is unclipped and very smart with only minor shelfwear and minor chipping to head of spine. Wrapper tape repaired internally, not affecting the externals. Internally, firmly bound. Minor faint scattered spotting to fore edge, affecting only the first and last few leaves. Otherwise, pages are bright and clean throughout. Very Good Indeed
