A smart limited edition of this brightly illustrated catalogue of artwork exploring the scenery of Great Britain and Ireland. Limited to five hundred copies of which this is number fifty-one. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, thirty-four collotype plates, and many in-text figures. Collated complete. A vast bibliographical catalogue of artwork exploring the scenery of Great Britain and Ireland. With images of different cities and boroughs, including: Bath, Cornwall, Lake District, Glastonbury, Kent, Oxford, Ramsgate, Birmingham, Dover, London, Liverpool, Isles of Wight, Cork, Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Swansea, Milford Haven, Jersey, and more. From the library of Major John Roland Abbey, an English book collector and high sheriff. Images for this work were produced with the use of printmaking techniques aquatint, for tonal effects, and lithography. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor shelf wear only. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd small closed tear. Sunning to the spine and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot to the endpapers. Very Good Indeed
