About This Item

West Cornwall CT: (Robert Andrew Parker). Limited Edition. Soft cover. Fine. Portfolio of 11 of 12 etchings housed loosely in a commercially produced black clamshell box with Parker's handmade label. Subjects include fictionalize patrons and real musicians at the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem in 1938, including Edgar Sampson, Teddy Hill and his orchestra and Pete Brown. Portfolio likely assembled by Parker himself in his studio, which might account for why one etching is lacking.
