San Francisco: City of Santa Cruz. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1976. Hardcover. This uncommon work is the result of a building by building survey of the historic structures in Santa Cruz, California. Each building is photographed, a short description is provided, and a rating has been assigned to each. There are generally three buildings per page. Buildings are grouped by district, and maps for each district are provided. There are also several pages of preliminary matter describing the process as well as appendicies that also describe such things as zoning, and recommendations. It is an oblong, paperback book. A previous owner put his name stamp on all three edges as well as inside the front wrapper and the bottom of the title page. Also, the number 1001 was written on the bottom of the spine. White wrappers with photo of house on front as well as title in red. Age toning and fading to lettering on spine. A tight book with no creasing to covers, and no other markings or underlining. ; B&W Photographs, Maps; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 199 pages .
