Miami, FL: Odysseus Books, 1991. First Thus . Hardcover (with Dust Jacket). Very Good. 8vo (290 pages). One man’s sailing career in the armed services and the merchant marine, culminating in kamikaze attacks during two critical battles in the Philipines. This is a mint copy of the First Edition, in dust jacket, recently deaccessioned from the library of the New York Yacht Club, with the club’s stunning vintage bookplate on the front pastedown, along with a discreet Case and Shelf notation. There are no other markings. The book has been SIGNED in ink and hand-dated by the author on the bookplate and on the title page.
