Toronto: Clarke, Irwin, 1977. Hard bound in dark grey cloth, first edition, xvi + Pp 267. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates, includes reference notes, bibliography and index. Ex-library copy with label to lower spine and pocket glued to front paste-down. Compliments of the Canada Council label on half-title page. Number 874 is inked to side edge otherwise a very good copy. 600 grams. The book highlights problems with mercury poisoning in northwest Ontario, particularly the Grassy Narrows Indian Reservation.
