Published 1707, quarto (8 inches, 20 cm) contemporary polished dark brown calf, gilt spine with raised bands, red spine label, [10], 142, [8], 252, [2], 250, 45, [7], 62 pp. with title pages for each new title. Very good crisp bright copy with lovely frontispiece of the author. The author, an Italian Jesuit preacher, was one of the most popular preachers of his time. His work, included in this volume, Concordia Quietis & Laboris, is considered a classic on religious meditation.
