Mexico City: Editorial Pax, 1945. Paperback. 164p., wraps, 5.75 x 7.75 inches, wraps worn and stained, glue beginning to dry out, pages toned, ink sketch of a man and woman on front blank signed "DAU" and dated "Mex-28 Feb 2010". Text in Spanish. Originally published in Spain in 1928, these poems reflected the influence of Granada's gypsy culture on the young Lorca.
Synopsis
Perhaps the most famous book of poetry written in Spanish in the 20th century, this volume masterfully conveys the richness of Lorca's native Andalusia.
