Title page printed in red and black. xvii+ 448 pp. plus 2 pp. publisher's ads at rear. Later printing (first was 1906) Color frontipiece of Botticelli's portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni, 13 photogravure plates with captioned tissue guards and numerous additional plates throughout the text (some foxing to these), A tight, very good or a bit better example, front gilt bright, spine a bit sunned and lettering a bit rubbed. Christmas 1912 inscription front free endpaper with a 1998 updated inscription.
