On May 23 2010, Albatron said:
Walt Boyne is arguably the best of the aviation (even aerospace) thriller writers. His recognition for his chronicling of aerospace history was recognized in a very unique way when he was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame recently. Read his books and you will see why. This book is a prime example of the era of the jet age coming into its own. A fictional cast of characters intermingled with the real folks who were there, and told accurately is a mix you cannot miss. Walts way with making history enjoyable does not disappoint.
