London: Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co. Ltd, 1934. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Blue cloth with gilt decoration to front board and to spine.4 plates, 43 text illustrations, and 12 maps. Some light shelfwear to the cloth at the outer edges of the boards and spine; outer page edges lightly browned, with a touch of foxing and a little dustsoil. Signatures have started but the binding is sound. Previous owner's signature to the front endpage.
