Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co., 1952. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. This is a stated first edition. The interior of the book is clean and tight, showing light wear only. The illustrated covers are bright, with moderate, wear and colour loss at edges and corners. The jacket is only in Good condition, again with moderate edge wear and shallow chipping at the top and bottom of the spine. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: The dragon terrorizing a small kingdom is defeated by a young man. Many brave knights had already been defeated in open battle, but Richard was clever and had invented a dragon-slaying machine.
