Inscribed by the President on the rear endpaper to angling book author Richard C. Hunt, with Hoover's typed note signed thanking Hunt for the gift of a book, along with a copy of Hunt's note of transmittal, enclosed in an envelope affixed to the rear pastedown, and with Hunt's angling bookplate on the front pastedown. Bruns H-249. Heller, Vol. II, 272: "[On] the need for increasing fish populations by means of fish hatcheries and decreasing pollution." Very good. Cloth-backed patterned boards, gilt spine title, publisher's slipcase (worn, one edge cracked through and broken). (8809).
