Blind-stamped cloth covers clean but corners bumped, top sp .rubbed & chipped, bottom sp.rubbed and all generally a bit tired. Reference/working copy only. 1st published in 1851 this went through numerous later re-issues, this was issued in the 'Collin's Select Library' series. A sound copy of this popular work in which Hitchcock strives to compel fellow believers to face the scientific facts while reassuring them this in no way threatens their faith.
