Illustrated paperback binding with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. This book looks at the challenges of Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco after the departure of the colonists  stating that the problem is not military but economic; and, quoting from the rear panel blurb " ... how really do we become economically independent, as well as politically? And beyond that alarming questions arise: is it possible for there to be true political independence with economic dependence? Where have the struggles against foreign oppressors led to?" Minor creasing of the book corners with a larger triangular crease to the top left hand corner of the rear panel. Rubbing of the book panels with some sunning to the back strip. Browning and foxing of the text block edges with light browning of the pages. Foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book.
