The story of a fox family and their struggle for survival. Illustrated with b&w plates by Charles Livingston Bull. Clarence Hawkes was struck blind at the age of 13 from a hunting accident and would then attend the Perkins School for the Blind in Boston, where he met and befriended Helen Keller.
