Cassell & Co, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No edition stated. 144 pages. No dust jacket. Illustrated red cloth. With illustrated frontispiece. Pages are rather marked with heavy tanning and some foxing, plus thumbing. Front endpaper has been removed. Previous owner's inscription to pre title page. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and rubbed. Rear hinge cracked, fraying and holey. Boards intensely rubbed, water stained and mottled overall. Book has a moderate forward lean.
