Cambridge MA & London: MIT Press. Reprint, 1st thus 1937, Spanish 1901-17 . Light Brown Cloth. VG+/VG. 14.5 Cm x 21 Cm. This translation originally published 1938 as Vol.8 of Memoirs of the American Philosophical Society in 2 vols; this single volume reprint is oddly undated, but lacking ISBN number so pre-1970, also it curiously has two identical title pages - clearly a production error. t.p.+xi+580, further 80 ills.: 30 on 17 Plates ex-pagination, other 50 inc. 3 also on ex-pag.plates; only internal problem is slight gutter opening after t.p., now sealed with transparent tear repair tape to avert further expansion; otherwise flawless inside and out, jacket clean and basically unworn, tiny nick to edge of front wrapaound, spine faded with slight end rubbing, closed short nick top front edge (will add protectyive sleeve when ordered). Apparently uncommon. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
