Glasgow: Robert Lindsay, c1856. Leather. Good. 6.5" by 4". Not Stated. A charming topographical work on Glasgow, rambling around the city and depicting its history and beauty. The fifth edition of this work.Hugh MacDonald's topographical tour around Glasgow, a lovely ramble around the city with comments on Glasgow's history, traditions, and beauty.Illustrated with a frontispiece, and vignette title page. In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, cloth is discoloured and lifting a little to the boards. Some marks and discolouration to the leather. Light marks to the boards. A little loss of leather to the head of the extremity to the rear board. Small tide mark to the front joint. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little age-toned and clean with some odd spots, mostly to the first and last few pages. Good
