Eleventh edition, originally published 1939. While waiting for his wife in the doorway, Hector Owen is seized from behind and whisked to a fantastic world full of good liquor and lovely ladies. Written by James Thorne Smith, an American writer of humorous fantasy fiction. In the original orange cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and marks to the board. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and chipping to the extremities. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine. Sunning to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Very Good
