Severe cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards to be loose. Some pages detached but still present. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to front free endpaper and rear pastedown. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Light tanning to spine and edges with tears and fraying to cloth to spine and edges. Mottling to both boards.

Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has much heavier tanning with visible splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
