Fourteenth impression thus, 55th thousand. 8vo. x, 755, (1) pp. Publisher's red cloth, black lettered to the spine, ownership inscription dated 1939 to the front free endpaper, colour illustrated dust jacket, not price clipped and with an early bookseller's label to the spine. Tanning to the jacket spine, long split top the rear of the jacket spine with subtle tissue repair on the verso plus a large chip to the foot, a little light edge wear elsewhere, else a decent copy. First published in 1929 and in English in 1934.
