Good+. 12 Cms x 19.5 Cms. unf.frontispiece - a facs. of 1652 letter to George Fox from 6 followers+xxiv+484+(1, Errata); yellow endpapers much discoloured centrally, front endpaper inscribed 'To Robeert Wheeler Esqu. with the assuranceof the christian regard of his obliged sincered Friend the Author'; verso same has tipped in Obituary of author from the Aylesbury News, 1847, outer edge f t.p.a little worn and top corners to p.xxii a little rubbed, both end-gutters opening, will try to secure these when ordered, text-block firm; covers clean but though boards are excellent the spine is vertically ridged and wrinkled. An interesting copy of this scarce work in which the author explained his reasons for resigning from the Society of Friends. He subsequently became an Anglican minister.
