Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1921. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1921. First Edition. 164 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Heavy mottling on front and rear boards. Deckled text block edges. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Creasing and slight tearing to pages 5-10. Cracking to gutters and rear hinge with exposed netting. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with pencil inscription to pastedown. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with prominent bumping and fraying to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Boards are slightly bowed. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Heavy mottling on front and rear boards. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
