Philadelphia: Herman Hooker, 1843. First U.S. Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. A Good copy in brown cloth lettered and decorated in gold (a bit sun-faded at the spine), all edges gilt. Small early gift inscription. Scattered foxing to the paper. The binding is sound, and the text is unmarked. Believed the first U.S. edition (from the fifth London edition). Not ex-library.
