Gray boards, olive cloth spine with black & gold letters. Slight wear on top edge of spine. Top edge of pages tinted red, fore-edge in rough cut style. Flyleaf page has note to prev. owner, otherwise 614 pages very slightly tanned & clean. Binding feels loose but pages & binding intact. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor due to rub wear. Edges have wear, tears, a piece missing on bottom corner. Original price clipped. Approx. 6" x 8 1/2" x 2" thick. Synopsis: "Tale of three generations of the Ames family, set in and around Boston during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries." A nice, fresh, clean reading copy, not an ex-library, .
