A lovely copy with a small chip to top edge of spine otherwise glossy bright and as new. This is the lively world of British Art the enthusiasm from the designer and publisher did not hold back from and profusely illustrated with artists' photographs, workshops, studios, friendships and art work. An immense showcase. The first book of its kind then to tell how London, Paris, New York became one of the world's three capitals of artand how the creative dynamos of British art came to dominate the international scene. 101 illustrations in full color and 267 in black and white. What an exploration!
