Description:
London: Michael Joseph, 1981. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. A fine copy in a near fine D/W that would be fine except for slight spine fading. Autobiography of the notorious architect and businessman who was the instigator of a major political scandal in the 1970s and who was sent to prison for corruption, precipitating the resignation of the Home Secretary at the time, Reginald Maudling. One of only a few copies in circulation as the entire print run was withdrawn and pulped before publication due to the threat of legal action.
