The first edition, first issue of this collection of thought provoking poetry about death by Amiri Baraka (Le Roi Jones). The first edition, first issue with the ads to the rear in bold. In the publisher's original paper covers designed by Basil King. This collection of poetry was written by the American poet, author and music critique Le Roi Jones, known now as Amira Baraka. The poems featured in this work are narrated by someone with depression, and convey the narrator's thoughts on dying. In the publisher's original paper covers. Externally excellent with fading to the extremities, light handling marks and spotting and slight rubbing to the spine. Internally firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages with only a minor spot to the last page and minimal creasing to the tail corners. Near Fine
