London: Macmillan and Co., 1905. This is an about very good hardcover two volume set with very clean covers, but some sporadic foxing to text and some plates. A number of illustrations have acidic tissue guards which have spotted. Top page-edges gilt. Gilt titles on dark green cloth spines. A former private Welsh owner's decorative bookplate in each volume. Many gravure illustrations + frontispiece. 9" high X 6" wide, 512 & 493 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
