Binding remains firm. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Previous owner's name to front endpaper. Light soiling to rear endpapers. Slight bubbling and creasing to both pastedowns. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with crushing to spine ends. Notable sunning to spine and edges, with faded staining and spotting all over boards. Pronounced rubbing to fore and bottom board edges, and to joints. Small split (approx. 1cm) along front joint. Book has a slight forward lean. Rear board is slightly bent.

The second Tommy Hambleton thriller by Adelaide Manning and Cyril Coles writing as Manning Coles. Spine is browned and light offsetting to the front and rear endpapers, else a very good copy in dust jacket with light restoration to the spine ends. Tommy Hambledon of the British Intelligence Service in his second appearance, as a victim of amnesia caused by the fighting in World War I.
