London: A.Fullarton & Co. c.1870. No date, presuemd First Edition. Three volumes; navy blue cloth on boards, gilt titles to spine with gilt decorative trim to spine; embossed decoratives to front & rear cover boards. Spines: mild darkening, head & foot with thin light rubbed wear. Faint dusting of just a little soiling to covers. Light tiny rubbed wear to all fore corners tips. Edges: moderate age browning & foxing. All three with 1800 style signature 1877 to ffeps. Colour engraving inscribed with date 1877. Sprinkling of light foxing throughout albeit mostly to the margins. Bindings are VG albeit oly a touch open to dome of the guttering. Vol. I: two pages conjugated at top edge; two pages top edge with small open v-tears. 306p Vol. II: a few pages conjugated at top edge. 322p Vol. III: a couple of pages conjugated at top edge. 302p. Hb. VG/None.
