Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1930. Hardcover. Very Good/Good-. Book is bumped and lightly worn at head and tail of spine. Fore edges are bumped/rounded. Very faint partial glass moisture ring on front board (has not raised finish on cloth). Gift inscription date Jan, 1932 on ffep. No other marks. Binding is sound. Dust jacket has edge wear; heaviest at top with closed tears and chips. One larger closed tear across front and smaller tear to back have been mended with acid-free document tissue. Age toning to spine and fore edges. Light general surface soiling. Not price clipped ($4.50 net). DJ has been placed in an archival Brodart cover. No date given; ca. late 1920's to 1930. Translated from the French by Dorothy Galton. Rare dust jacketed copy. 6 x 8.75 inches. 317 pages.
