Includes the unpublished "French Revolution" together with the "Minor Prophetic Books" and Selections from "The Four Zoas, Milton and Jerusalem". Includes sixteen illustrations by Blake at title-pages of respective pieces. With this remarkable work Sampson produced the first scholarly edition of William Blake's work, in which he returned to the original texts, taking into account Blake's own handwritten corrections.
