Original publishers bindings with paper covered boards and paper title labels on the spines. Frontispiece and illustrated title page in volume 1. No other illustrations. Texts are untrimmed and lightly toned or foxed with a few unopened pages. Both covers detached and edge worn volume 1. Small ink stain bottom of the title page and early pages volume 1. Covers edge worn volume 2. Front board detached volume 2. Rear hinge is slightly cracked volume 2. Previous owner name label of Thomas Hun located on the front paste downs and his inscription dated 1831 written top of the title pages. Fair only.
