Boards show wear along spine folds, edges and corners. Marblized pastedown and free end pages. Front hinge is loose. Binding is stable, but there is the start of a split between pages 296 and 297. Interior is clean with very slight age-toning along page edges. Page edges are in gilt. Tissue-protected frontis portrait of Tennyson.
