London: F.S. Ellis, 1870. Hardcover. Near Fine. First edition. Bound in full vellum with morocco shield-type spine label, titled and decorated in gilt. Bookplate of W.C. Bennett, ownership signature on the title page, another owner's stamp on the verso of the marbled front endpaper, and an old bookseller's note that the binding is by Zaehnsdorf. Boards a little splayed and a tiny tear on the first blank leaf else a very handsome, near fine copy.
